Holguin, on the North East of Cuba is the idyllic location of the island's newest Super-Inclusive resort. Surrounded by beautiful lush country, this resort caters for singles, couples and families.

Holguin City, the provincial capital, is located 743 kilometres east of Havana, the capital of Cuba.

Location

Playa Costa Verde is located adjacent to the fine white sandy beaches of Playa Pesquero, Rafael Freyre, in the province of Holguin. It is surrounded by exuberant, abundant and colourful vegetation, 50 kilometres from the International Airport "Frank Pais" in Holguin.

Accommodations

Playa Costa Verde has 480 rooms each with a total area of 35 square metres. The resort includes 31 two storey buildings with a maximum occupancy in each room of 3 people, (2 adults, 1 child, or 1 adult and two children).

There are 464 standard air-conditioned rooms, with bathroom, hair dryer, safety deposit box, telephone, satellite television, CD player, iron with ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, minifridge, and terrace or balcony.

There are also 16 air-conditioned Tropical Suites with bathroom, hair dryer, safety deposit box, telephone, satellite television, CD players, iron with ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, minifridge, terrace or balcony, and living room.

Restaurants and Cafeteria

The Buffet

The buffet offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wines are served during lunch and dinner.

Martino's

The Italian a la carte restauranr, air-conditioned for comfort, serves a variety of dishes. Resrevations and a dress code apply. Minimum age 5 years.

Munahana

The Japanese a la carte restaurant, with its own sushi bar and Teppen-yaki style dishes cooked in front of you by your own chef. Reservations and a dress code apply. Minimum age 5 years.

Conuco's Grill

A la carte open air grill serving lobster, steaks and a wide variety of grilled fish and meat. Reservations required.

Lucy's

Located next to the pool, serves snacks, pizzas, sandwiches and drinks from late morning to early evening.
The lobby bar serves snacks 24 hours a day.

BARS:

There are 7 bars at the hotel, one a swim-up bar in the pool! The lobby bar is open 24 hours a day. The pool bar and the grill bar are both open from 10:00 to 23:00.

Entertainment

SPORTS
Water sports: Windsurfing, water-skiing, banana boat, pool volleyball, sailing, kayaks, catamaran, snorkeling and pedal boats.

Scuba Diving: Lessons in the pool for beginners and trips for qualified divers.
Land sports: Bicycle tours, beach volleyball, table tennis, aerobics, tennis and basketball.

Beaches/Pools/Jac: The beach is set in a wonderful cove with trees providing natural shade. The pool is a large free-form shape with a swim-up bar for convenience! A childrens pool is located next to the kids club. There are two jacuzzis nestled in the gardens within their own gazebo.

Fitness Centre: Fully equiped with treadmills, bicycles, weights, and TVs to watch whilst exercising

Indoor Activities: The lobby bar is next to the games area where there is a wide selection of board games along with table tennis and pool.

Live Entertainment: Dance Classes, Olympic games, Spanish-language lessons, "Cuban Day" . There are shows every night (aqua-ballet, sumo wrestling, afro-cuban show, The Ideal Couple, etc.) Our resident band and our pianist perform nightly. The Disco offers a variety of activities, such as karaoke nights, shows, dances, etc.

Laundry: Open every day except National Holidays. Forty eight hour turn-around. Available at an extra cost.
Shop; The shop located in the lobby is open daily.

Tourism Bureaus, open every day from 08:00 to 17:00 hours. Massage therapy.
Currency: Cuba accepts all kinds of foreign currencies, including cash American dollars and travelers’ cheques. However, it does not accept credit cards or travelers' cheques issued by U.S. banks or American Express.
Medical services: Doctor and Nurse on duty 24 hours a day for minor medical attention. An International Clinic is 15 kms away from the hotel.
Voltage: Outlets are wired for 220 volts. There is a 110v in the bathroom for razors. Adaptors are required.

Fitness Centre: Fully equiped gym with weights, bicycles, tread mills, aerobics, etc.

Massage: Available at an extra cost from 09:00 to 17:00 daily.

Tour Desk: Open daily, located in the main lobby.

Handicap Facilities: 4 standard rooms are equiped with wheelchair facilities. Ramps give access to bars, restaurants, the pool and reception.

MEETING FACILITIES: Conference room with seating capacity for a maximum of 120 persons is available theatre-style. Private receptions and banquets may incur an additional charge.

50% discount on return (hotel stay only), during the month of the couple's first anniversary, in hotel of wedding or renewal of vows.

NOTARIAL SERVICES FOR WEDDINGS & RENEWAL OF VOWS

All weddings and renewal of vows are performed by a Notary Public on weekdays only, that is: Mondays to Fridays, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is a mini reception after the ceremony where cake and sparkling wine are served. Relatives cannot be used as witnesses. (Religious ceremonies performed by anyone other than a Notary Public are available, but are not legally binding).

The cost of the Marriage Certificate and the Renewal of Vows Certificate is not included; this is payable in advance of the ceremony to the Notary Public.
