The Varadero Golf Club is located just west of the Sol Melia Las Americas Suites and Golf Resort and East of the Iberostar's Bella Costa Resort Hotel directly on Varadero Beach, Varadero, Cuba.

Playing 6269 meters ( 6896 Yards ) from the tips ( Gold ), 5778 meters ( 6356 Yards ) from the Blue's, 5248 meters ( 5773 Yards ) from the White's and 4672 meters from the Green ( 5139 Yards ).

This par 72 course will challenge every facet of your game and yet it is an extremely fair course. As usual, if you stray from the fairways, you pay when you stray. The signature hole is the 18th and what a homecoming it is. The view is spectacular with The God Of Life statue on the left and the magnificent view of the Caribbean sea.

The course is under the guidance and management of Mr. Jose Tobar.

Adjacent to the golf course clubhouse featured in the foreground of the 18th hole is the former DuPont summer retreat built in 1930 at a cost of 1.3 million dollars. The Xanadu mansion, is now utilized as a restaurant and luxury guest accommodations featuring 4 luxury one and two bedroom suites as well as " Mirador " ( Panoramic View ) which has been converted into a restaurant and cocktail lounge for dinner guests, cocktails and musical entertainment provided by local musicians.

The wine cellar features over 170 selections of wines. Dinners are by reservation only and while casual wear is acceptable, long pants and dresses are mandatory.

"Mirador" features the most wonderful meals prepared by Adrianne, Our chef imported from France who will prepare exquisite meals to satisfy any palate.

The Cuban Government was kind enough to supply our general manager, Mr Pensu and the Varadero Golf Club with 21 caddy's of which 14 are female. Featured below is one of our caddy's, Marilyn Garcia Armeteros and the main dining room of "Mirador".
