Adjacent to the golf course clubhouse featured in
the foreground of the 18th hole is the former DuPont summer retreat built in 1930 at a
cost of 1.3 million dollars. The Xanadu
mansion, is now utilized as a restaurant and luxury guest
accommodations featuring 4 luxury one and two bedroom suites as well as " Mirador
" ( Panoramic View ) which has been converted into a restaurant and cocktail lounge
for dinner guests, cocktails and musical entertainment provided by local musicians.
The wine cellar features over 170 selections of wines. Dinners are by reservation only and while casual wear is acceptable, long pants and dresses are mandatory.
